Smithy Gallery, located in the beautiful village of Blanefield, opened in November 2005. Natalie Harrison has lovingly restored the village's original blacksmiths, retaining many of its original features, while creating a unique space to showcase the works of established as well as upcoming artists.
Smithy Gallery is only a twenty minute drive from Glasgow's City Centre and will give visitors the opportunity to view the work of well known contemporary Scottish artists such as David Martin RSW RGI, Carlo Rossi RSW RGI, Margaretann Bennett RSW, Henry Fraser and Laura Harrison, all of whose works are part of private collections around the world.
Its diary of exhibitions also showcase work by upcoming talent such as George Allen, Emma Waine and Marion Thomson. |
